Way back in 1987 Jo Hunt started a Junior Judo Club in the Vaughan Leisure Centre in Clifton, Bristol. In 1989 the club moved to the Japan Arts Centre in Jacob Wells Rd Clifton which remained our home until 2014 when the centre was sold, after 3 years at the Templegate Aikido Centre  we were forced to move again when the premises was demolished. From 2018 -2021 the club was  based in the City Academy 

In 2021 post the covid 19 pandemic  the club relocated to our current venue at Faithspace, Redcliffe .  Covid restrictions had decimated the club and since 2021 we have been rebuilding and are now stronger than ever. We now  have a great team of 20 qualified coaches !

 In 2023 we opened our satellite club in Lyde Green, initially to offer classes to the local Cantonese community who had recently resettled in the area.   This class has now expanded to welcome all children from the local community .

 We are Police Sport UK Community club run by volunteers.

We welcome all members from 5 years of age upwards.

Visitors are always very welcome
